Inter-Facility transport is the transporting of patients between veterinary facilities/hospitals/surgical centers who require medical care, oxygen, etc. during transport.

Other Information
Payment Policy:
All payments must be made before transport is scheduled. Accepted forms of payment are Cash, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, or Cashier’s Check. We do not accept personal checks.
Surcharges and Fees:
*There is a $2.00 surcharge per mile if drop-off location is outside a 10-mile radius of pick-up location for non-emergency transport. For example, if your veterinarian’s office (drop-off location) is 20 miles from your home (pick-up location), there will be a surcharge of 10 miles x $2.00. This charge DOES NOT apply to emergency or inter-facility transport.
Non-Emergency Wait Times: for customers who have scheduled round-trip transport, there is an approximate wait time of 30mins once you have notified us that you and/or your pet are ready to be picked up.

Transport is also available to & from Ohio State Veterinary Medical Center, Pittsburgh Veterinary Emergency & Speciality, and Ryan Veterinary at Penn Vet. Please call for quote.
*Large Dog surcharge: Please add $15 for dogs weighing 100 – 150lbs or $25 for dogs over $150lbs.

Transport Packages:

Cancellation Policy:
Emergency Transport Cancellation: If a pet owner decides to cancel an emergency prior to a vehicle being dispatched, they will receive a full refund. However, after a vehicle has been dispatched, the pet owner may still cancel but there is a $65 cancellation fee.
Pre-Scheduled Transport Cancellation: Appointments may be canceled up to 24 hrs. before the scheduled pick-up without a fee. Cancellations that occur with less than 24hrs notice are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
